G-Fax Service Continuity: India COVID-19 Surgecreated: Tuesday, September 08, 2020 updated: Tuesday, September 08, 2020
As of August 30, 2020, India’s Health Ministry has reported more than 75,000 infections for five consecutive days, representing the fastest growing caseload of any country. The Health Ministry also reported the world’s highest single-day spike since the pandemic began on August 26.
However, the Ministry of Home Affairs has moved the country into a new phase of reopening called “unlock 4,” effective September 1. This phase includes the reopening of the country’s metro rail service on September 7.
There has been no impact to local GHX workforce productivity and operations, and we continue to maintain or exceed service levels. We feel confident our team will continue to deliver reliable, excellent service while working remotely as they have done for several months.
