This award recognizes excellence in overall spend automation, solution utilization, and execution and effectiveness.

Must be user of all three GHX spend management-related solutions:

Criteria considered

Note: Nominees are not required to meet all these criteria, nor are they limited to these. This criteria defines the range of accomplishment considered for this award.

  • Percentage of total spend automated
  • Percentage of spend attributed to automated suppliers on the GHX Exchange
  • Percent of contracts automated
  • Contract compliance rate
  • Average procurement cycle time
  • Strategic execution - how eProcurement helps drive organizational objectives

Nominations should include supporting documentation whenever possible.

  • Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS) is a leader in the eProcurement space, with a strong process improvement and innovation department as part of its corporate supply chain team. The organization has served as a pilot site for many GHX solutions, including Clinical ConneXionSM and Provider Intelligence.

  • FMOLHS has leveraged supply chain automation to help drive its organizational objectives, primarily growth through mergers and divestitures. Year-over-year the organization continues to demonstrate upward growth in automation and eProcurement product utilization.

  • This year, FMOLHS ranks 11 in the GHX Best 50, with metrics that have improved or been sustained over the past 12 months. These include 100 percent contract automation, 100 percent of automated procurement requisitions on contract, 95 percent total spend automation, 95 percent contract compliance and a 0.87 percent contract price exception rate.
