2019 proved to be a year of significant change and growth for Medtronic Canada.
Medtronic Interventional Therapies Group Canada (MITG aka Covidien) consolidated into a single ERP platform while the team worked diligently, in parallel, to comply with the Quebec Government’s EDI mandate to support Single Channel Advanced Transactions, including the EDI 832 price file and 867 sales tracing file.
Highlights include purchase order (PO) line growth of 7.42 percent and invoice volume growth of 32 percent. In addition, advanced shipping notices grew significantly to greater than 60 percent.
In 2018, Teleflex increased automation among the “core four” supply chain documents: Purchase order (PO), purchase order acknowledgement (POA), advance ship notice (ASN) and invoice.
The company increased its number of electronic trading partners by 26 percent, grew PO automation with customers by over 21 percent, expanded electronic data interchange (EDI) invoice transaction volume by 23 percent, and continued to support a PO response speed that is well above the industry average.
Teleflex also leveraged advanced exchange EDI transactions, including price authorization and sales tracing files, to further expand automation benefits with partners.
