GHX Delivers Mobile Operating Room to AHRMM13 Annual Conference

New GHX implantable device management solution demonstrations showcase cost / quality improvement opportunity for healthcare providers and suppliers
Louisville, CO - Wednesday, July 24, 2013 -

GHX is delivering a mobile operating room to the AHRMM13 Annual Conference in San Diego, July 28-31. In a first-of-its-kind demonstration, the GHX booth (#411) will be transformed into a mobile operating room to showcase the company’s new Case Xpert(SM) end-to-end implantable device supply chain solution.

The GHX mobile operating room will be on the AHRMM Exhibit Hall floor and open for 15-minute Case Xpert demos on Monday and Tuesday, July 29-30. To secure a confirmed timeslot, attendees are encouraged to pre-register at www.ghx.com/ordemo.

Case Xpert is the first-of-its-kind solution to capture and share data from case creation to product usage during procedures, creating usage capture capability while validating that a device is on contract for more accurate billing, purchasing and inventory tracking. The solution offers real-time collaboration, with the ability for implantable device manufacturers and hospitals to collaborate earlier in the process and to create a single ‘source of truth’each organization can use, from the validated and audited record created in Case Xpert.

“AHRMM is focusing this year’s conference on building its Cost, Quality, and Outcomes (CQO) Movement, helping AHRMM members to understand the supply chain connection at the intersection of cost, quality, and outcomes,” said Derek Smith, chief commercial officer, GHX. “The CQO Movement is all about leading and accelerating change, which is precisely what GHX is doing with our implantable device supply chain solution. Case Xpert is designed to address the estimated $5 billion in revenue losses currently recorded every year by healthcare providers and manufacturers due to the lack of automation and process efficiency for these devices, which represent a $40 billion market segment.”

In addition to its mobile operating room GHX will present alongside other healthcare leaders on product data standards and data integrity. These sessions include:
