Alexis Kearns
Vice President, Human Resources

Alexis Kearns brings more than 10 years as both a consultant and a human resources professional to her position as vice president of Human Resources for GHX. In that role, she is responsible for directing all human resources activities for more than 600 employees in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She is dedicated to building a Human Resources department that is focused on driving the business forward through the development of talent across the organization.

Prior to joining GHX in January 2010, Kearns was a partner in Skye Associates, LLC, an international leadership development consultancy. There, she specialized in change management, leadership training, team effectiveness and executive coaching. Her experiences include leading organizational change efforts, facilitating leadership programs for all levels of management and leadership, working with intact teams to improve team performance and coaching individual leaders at all levels of an organization.

Kearns began her career at Arthur Andersen, where she focused on change management consulting for technology companies. After leaving Arthur Andersen, she joined Level 3 Communications as the head of Human Resources for a start-up division of that organization.

During her career, Kearns has worked in a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, consumer products, manufacturing, hospitality, public safety, retail and telecommunications.

Kearns earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
