Registration

In order to connect to the Exchange, registration is a key component to getting started. Registration ensures that we have the important information we need to get you set up with GHX. You'll then be able to accurately send transactions through the Exchange to the correct trading partner, with no errors.

Your GHX account executive will collect your account information and fill out a "boarding" document, which is passed on to our experienced Registration team.

If you're a provider organization, the boarding document will also contain the names of suppliers with whom you want to transact. Your account will be assigned a unique identifier. At the same time, GHX sends a request to the suppliers you've noted, so that they can send back the confirmation information needed to ensure accurate routing from one organization to the other. GHX provides you with status updates throughout registration, and follows up with all parties to resolve issues. This process - from boarding document to supplier confirmations - generally takes around 10 days.

After the Registration team completes a rigorous testing process for your account, a final communication is sent to suppliers and providers, to confirm that registration is correct and complete.

At this point, your account is ready to "go-live." On your "go-live" date, a GHX account executive will be at your site to ensure your first transaction goes through successfully.

At the same time registration is taking place, steps are taken to integrate your technology with ours.
