Provider and Supplier Scorecards for Supply Chain Members
As you begin to use GHX products and services, it's important for you to be able to measure your progress in improving your healthcare supply chain processes. Working with both healthcare providers and suppliers, GHX has developed integrated solutions to identify, measure and optimize industry accepted standards and best practices within healthcare e-commerce. Scorecards provide your organization with an ongoing tool to measure performance, enhance processes, and ultimately, improve your bottom line.
Provider Scorecard
Each Provider Scorecard report is presented at an IDN level to show the overall results of processing transactions through GHX. By reviewing the reports and implementing the suggested business practices, your organization can increase the number and quantity of electronic orders, significantly reducing discrepancies and manual order intervention, and creating a uniform supply management (or “ordering”) process.
Your organization will be measured on benchmarks such as:
- Number of GHX supplier connections
- Volume of transactions processed through GHX
- Types of electronic transactions transmitted through GHX
- Use of GHX monitoring tools such as My Exchange Order Center and AP Center
- MMIS capabilities to accept electronic invoices and contract price uploads
- Use of value-added GHX products such as Contract Center, MetaTrade and Advanced Content
Supplier Scorecard
The Supplier Scorecard helps you learn how to provide a more uniform and automated experience for your customers, and how to increase your quantity of electronic orders. Using the results of your scorecard, you can take actions to reduce days sales outstanding, reduce operating costs and increase customer satisfaction. Your organization will be measured on benchmarks such as number of trading partners activated, monthly and daily dollar volume, and monthly and daily electronic purchase order and line counts. The scorecard will highlight areas of accomplishment and areas with room for improvement.
Scorecards are emailed to you and can be run by you through My Exchange. You'll work with your GHX account executive to further analyze and apply the results of the Scorecard to improving your supply chain processes.
